C.A. O’Brien has been a professional writer and editor for more than four decades, contributing to major newspapers and periodicals, as well as editing a series of magazines for a well-known publishing company under the name of Catherine Daley. With a keen sense of architectural composition, she has written about construction, design and decor for a good part of her career. Two houses, which were personally designed and decorated, were featured in home-related magazines and voted house-of-the-year after each build.

As an author, O’Brien has returned to her maiden name, and is dedicated to her craft of writing essays, poetry and fiction.
